We dined in for a late lunch/early dinner. We tried the sausage platter which came with 3 different types of sausage and a side of kraut. I'm not a kraut gal but my husband ate it all happily and Said it was slightly sweet, warm and fresh. The sausages each had different flavor but all were tasty. We also tried the Pastrami sandwich on the French bread. The bread was soft and warm with a crunch crust. The veggies were fresh and the meat flavorful. The kind of food you savor. My husband tried the carbonated water which he liked and I had the iced tea which was a nice mild black tea. For dessert we tried the apple blueberry streusel with vanilla ice cream and whipped topping and a tall slice of cheese cake. The cheese cake was creamy light and rich with a hint of lemon flavor. The streusel was warm and comforting with sweet delicious flavor. The crust could have used a little crisp but it was still very good. Angelika was friendly greeted and seated us and took our order. It wasn't too busy but there were other diners. We were tempted by all the chocolate and other goodies on display as well. Overall a delightful first visit.

So I was lucky enough to grow up around German, Polish ,and Italian cooking in upstate New York. I have eaten German food in Texas, Colorado Springs, I was also fortunate enough to grow up with people who grew up during the depression learned how to make really good food on a budget. Fresh meats, fresh vegetables, etc. today after my medical visit my best friend and I went here. She told me how amazing it was ( let me tell you ) the owner was extremely warm and welcoming. It felt like you were coming into her kitchen, simple, basic, and charming. I have the jaegerschnitzel with red cabbage( each meal comes out with a beautiful loaf of homemade crusty bread with wonderful butter.) The mushroom sauce was perfection. The pork was cooked to perfection and so tender, the potatoes (as far as I could tell was made with onion and bacon) and a dash of wonderful seasoning. I’m a big guy at 6 foot 1 ,245 with a healthy appetite. I can tell you that every bite was delicious and I left full. Keep up the wonderful work. (Why people never give five stars. I will never know ,) lol if I could, I would give 10 stars The menu is simple as it should be. Everything was definitely made with love and skill. Danka Frau Anjelika

A little pricey on the market stuff, but she does have to pay to import stuff, so just understand that when you go in. The restaurant food is delicious. Her semmels are phenomenal, and I love that she has lunch meat right there for sale. I get all my favorites here (especially in the market) and to me, the prices are worth a little taste of home. My brothers bring me stuff when they visit, and sometimes I can find things at the commissary as well, but Angelikas supply of things that are hard for me to find is a wonderfultreat when I need it.

While visiting Sierra Vista, I stopped in to see what Angelic's german deli had to offer. I didn't have time to eat there on this day, but when I walked in, the place smelled amazing. There was a very nice selection of deli items. I bought wurst and other wonderful deli items. With a wide variety of other german groceries; vinegars, pickles, gravy, sauces, and sweets, for instance, I bought several items. I was pleased with the selection. Maybe someday, or maybe Angelica, will open a german delicatessen in Tucson. I'm jealous. Sierra Vista has german food, and we're missing out in Tucson, of all places.

I am so happy when I find authentic food. Classic schnitzel and spaetzle just like in Germany. The owner is sweet and I'm happy to learn she's been in business here over 20years. Love me a delicious and humble little gem like this, will definitely be stopping by again. Plus, they got my go to vitamins which I've only ever gotten in Germany.
